Driven by quality - Experienced at extracting

The roots of Schaper and Brümmer's success lie in decades of accumulated knowledge of herbal remedies and their preparation. This means that we can look back on a long tradition of working with natural materials. This knowledge, combined with the newest findings on the functions and effectiveness of medicinal plants, is the foundation for the production of our phytotherapeutic medicines.

Experience plus innovation: Our production technique

Over 80 years' worth of experience in the extraction of plant healing agents, modern equipment maintained at the most up-to-date scientific and technical levels, as well as rigorously trained, specialised employees ensure that our compounds will continue to satisfy the highest demands.

On the way to becoming a finished product, every one of our plant extractions is subject to strict quality controls. The goal: to offer patients a highly efficient, effective and all-round safe medicine, on which they can fully rely, pill for pill and drop for drop.

Using our knowledge for others: Contract work

Schaper & Brümmer also offers its manufacturing equipment and laboratories for contract work. Furthermore, we support our customers in, for example, galenic developments and investigating the stability of compounds. This way other firms working in the pharmaceuticals sector can also benefit from Schaper & Brümmer's long-term know-how.

Perfection to the end: Our packaging and logistics centre

The days in which medicine was sold loose in bags are long past. Eight modern packaging lines, for our own packaging and for others, ensure that each and every medical package maintains the highest standards in durability and protection against contamination. In a two-shift process up to 295,000 packages a day are filled, which can then be stored in our own high shelf warehouse, which accommodates circa 2000 palettes.
