Privacy Policy

Schaper & Brümmer GmbH & Co. KG (subsequently "Schaper & Brümmer") takes the protection of your private data very seriously. In the following we would like to inform you about which data we save, and when and why we do so.

1) Anonymous data acquisition

In principle, you can visit Schaper & Brümmers websites without revealing your identity. We only learn which type and version of browser you are using, the operating system of your computer, the pages you visited beforehand, the host name of the computer making contact, and the date and time of the contact as provided by the server. This information is evaluated purely for statistical purposes and is immediately deleted after the evaluation. You, the user, remain anonymous.

2) Cookies

Cookies are small text files which can be saved to your hard drive after visiting a website. These text files are created and then sent to you by the web server to which you have established contact using your browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox). We also use cookies on our website; for example, to monitor how often our website is visited. To this end, we use so-called “session cookies”, which are deleted when you close your browser. Personal details are not included in our cookies.  

3) Acquisition, processing and use of personal data

Personal data are only collected if you actively share them with us, for example when using the contact form. Schaper & Brümmer processes and uses your personal data exclusively for dealing with your requests or questions. We place a great deal of value on only collecting necessary data. We do not share your personal data with third parties.

The processing of your personal data takes place exclusively within states belonging to the European economic region.

4) Transfer of personal data

If we do pass on personal data, then only to service and partner firms which support us in processing your requests. These firms may only use your personal data on our behalf while completing your request, and are obliged to adhere to the relevant data acquisition requirements.

It may happen that we are forced to release your personal data by legal requirements or proceedings. There is otherwise no transferral of personal data to third parties. 

5) Your right information about and correction or deletion of your personal data

You have the right at any time to demand information about what information about you we have saved, and to what purpose we saved the information. Furthermore, you have at all times the opportunity to change, correct or delete (or block) incorrect or obsolete data, unless we need the information to enforce demands or for the fulfilment of legally required retention periods.

6) Changes to this privacy policy

Due to legal and/or organisational reasons, changes or adaptations to our privacy policy may from time to time be necessary. For this reason, please make sure you pay attention to the current version of our privacy policy.
